The goal of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is to ensure that all children of migrant parents are able to receive the support, education, and the resources that they need in order to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

The PAC consists of a group of migrant parents that meets bi-monthly to discuss topics that could impact the educational processes of students. PAC members also participate in training put on by community partners, give feedback regarding allocations of funds, and give input regarding the planning of summer school.

The Migrant Education Program encourages, supports, and guides parents that are interested in being part of this committee.

La meta del Comité Asesor de Padres (PAC) es que todos los hijos de padres migrantes puedan recibir el apoyo, la educación y los recursos que necesitan para tener éxito académico, social y emocional.

El PAC consiste de un grupo de padres migrantes que se juntan cada dos meses para discutir temas que podrían afectar los procesos educativos de los estudiantes. Los miembros del PAC también participan en entrenamientos y talleres organizados por varias agencias de la comunidad, brindan comentarios sobre la asignación de fondos y comparten sus ideas sobre la planificación de la escuela de verano.

El Programa de Educación Migrante quiere apoyar y guiar a los padres que estén interesados ​​en ser parte de este comité.
